ExploreExploring is essential to grow at the start. When you're not big enough to conquer planets, you can gain cheap planets by exploring them. You just need to give in a name for the new planet and give some starting population along with the expedition. You must at least send 100 pop and the home planet must have at least 100 pop left. Planets can have the same name. Exploring becomes more and more expensive as your amount of planets raises, so after a while it is better to attack other people to gain planets.
